CBC RADIO ONE MOVES TO FM SIGNAL IN WHITEHORSE JUNE 1, 2012

Beginning June 1 be sure to make the switch to CBC Radio One in  Whitehorse on 94.5 FM to hear all of the latest news, weather and stories from across the Yukon and your favorite local programs like A New Day, The Weekender, Midday CafĂ© and Airplay, only with better sound quality. 

 

CBC Radio One in Whitehorse features local programming that reflects the vibrant diversity of the Yukon, including A New Day with Sandi Coleman (weekday mornings, beginning at 6:00 a.m.) which prepares Yukoners for their day ahead with events happening in the community, nationally and internationally, and Midday Cafe with Russell Knutson (weekday afternoons, beginning at 12 p.m.), a radio gathering place where Yukoners can enjoy their lunch hour and while Dave White and Airplay (weekday afternoons, beginning at 4:00 p.m.) welcomes Yukoners back home after a busy day of work.  Weekend mornings, The Weekender with Mardy Derby (weekend mornings, beginning at 6:00 a.m.) offers a relaxing mix of arts and leisure and community events.

 

It's a good time to make the switch - we end our AM signal on August 31.
