I note issues regarding seniors are being addressed and that is great, however, do all politicians ignore the plight of young adults living with Multiple Sclerosis?

There is no cure for MS but there are medications available to slow the progression of the disease. These are very costly ($1,500.00 \-a month) and unless one is on social assistance or a senior, no financial assistance is available.

In Atlantic Canada, all governments have an assistance program in place to help with the cost - all except NL! This is not acceptable and the government should be ashamed!

Persons with private insurance are reaching the cap on their policies and have no place to turn. Will these persons relocate to other Provinces to obtain their meds? Do persons with MS in NL, and their families, not count?

I want to correct my fellow Albertan on one thing, Alberta collects 100% but has to transfer the largest amounts of equalization payments, more than any other province. Do you think this is fair? It isn't. Alberta gets punished by the Feds for having rich resources, and they rob us blind in Ottawa by taxing us to death.

And EVERYONE I have talked to in my 4 years here thinks nothing but the world for Newfoundland, Labrador and the Maritimes. The second I mention where I am from people have nothing but praise and questions for the culture of Atlantic Canada.
