CBC wants to hear from you, about the election, the party platforms and leaders, and any issues you would like discussed or investigated during the campaign.

Oct 22, 2003, 3:31 a.m.

This election was lost at the Liberal leadership convention. The grass roots Liberals wanted John Efford as the party leader. The Liberal hierarchy wanted Roger Grimes, this hierarchy consisted of many of the ministers who lost their seats.

Grimes squeaked in as leader. This left many disaffected grass root Liberals. Had John Efford been the leader, the Liberals would have won this election.

Certainly the province has advanced under the Liberal governments, but the Liberal government forgot one thing. Don't ignore the wishes of the people.

-Andy T. O'Pray, Comox, B.C.
