Hey Folks,
Some good news this week if you're a fan of the Sunshine and drier weather. After a pretty damp February, this week an area of High Pressure sitting over the Province will be the main story.

A Few Points.
-A Big negative here is, temperatures will remain Above Normal once again across the entire Province.
-You folks, in Western Labrador will on the extreme West side of this ridge and so as a result you won't see as much Sunshine this week and you'll see a few flurries kicking around as well.
-Newfoundland will continue to see some clouds and flurries on Tuesday with things clearing Tuesday night into Wednesday.
-The Northeast Coast could be a little on the cloudy side even into Wednesday with Winds in from the North.
-How long can it hold??? This ridge of High pressure will act as a block and keep all the unsettled weather to the South this week, but how long can it hold it's ground? This will be really interesting to watch this week. The American GFS and European ECMWF models are showing a break down just in time for the weekend as a system moving in from the South finally breaks through. The Canadian GEM model is holding the High strong right through the weekend keeping us dry right into mid next week. I'm thinking a break down this weekend is the more likely scenario.
I'll keep you updated.
