THURSDAY SNOW

Well, it's not much... but it's something for you snow lovers.

-A piece of energy rotating through Southern Quebec today will track East towards the Atlantic tonight and then head Northeast as we move into Wednesday.
-When it hits the Coast it will tap into some of that Gulf Stream moisture and drop a swath of Snow on it's backside up through Nova Scotia and then into Newfoundland for Thursday.
-Arrival time appears to be early on Thursday morning with the Snow tapering off overnight and into Friday morning.
-Forecast models still have some disagreement (surprise, surprise). The Canadian is flip flopping like a fish out of water on the track and the intensity. However the American GFS has been fairly consistent on track and strength. The Euro hasn't quite made up it's mind either.
-Here's an early attempt at Snowfall totals.

-I'll update the map again tomorrow.

ANOTHER COLD SHOT

In behind this system we'll see yet another blast of Cold for Friday and into the weekend. Temperatures look like they could be just as Cold as they have been over the past few days.
I'll keep you updated on that in your Long Range forecast through out the week.

Hey Ryan,

There is an employers here in GFW wil a sign that reads: "Missing.... Snow, if found please call." There doesn't seem to be any snow in the forecast for us any time soon.

Just wondering if there is any possibility that we could get more snow than what is in being called for?
