Saturday Snow-7pm Update

MODELS TRENDING BACK WEST AGAIN...

As I mentioned earlier... over the past few days the models have been trending East with the track of this storm. However I expected the models would start swinging the system back West again... and indeed they have.

As a result, I've updated my Snowfall estimates for Eastern Newfoundland.

Again, this seems to be an ever changing Storm... so this map will likely have to be updated again tomorrow... but I wanted to give you a sense of what's on the way.

I'll talk to you tomorrow.

Ryan:
We switched over to Here & Now a few months after you started doing the weather on CBC. We stayed with Here & Now because of your reporting. It is nice to have a weather reporter who is not only "very" good at reporting but is so dedicated to 'tracking' and updating with the weather. You ahve been the most accurate that Newfoundland has seen in many years. Keep up the good work.

Hey Ryan I really enjoy your weather segments. There is really one thing that I find annoying and that's your St. John's 7 to 7. There are more communities that exist in NL besides "The Town". Be creative and focus on a different community each evening, it would be a small way to let the rest of us know that we are just as important as those of you who live in St. John's.

Ryan, Congrats.
Once again you have called it correct when all other stations predicted a miss on the weather. Good job.
