MESSY SYSTEM MOVES IN

Hey Folks,

Sorry I'm running low on time today... so this will be a bit brief. As my title indicates, things are turning messy across the Province. Not just over the next 24-48 hours... but over the next week or so.

SNOW, FREEZING RAIN, ICE PELLETS, RAIN
Basically, the dog's breakfast is coming at us over the next 3 days. As this massive Low pressure system rolls in tonight and tomorrow and Wednesday.

Just take a look at the Warning's Board for Eastern Canada... when it's lit up like a Christmas tree like that you know it's a large system coming in.

LARGE BUT WEAK
No doubt, this is a big system. We have Warnings in effect today from Saskatchewan to Newfoundland to prove it. However this system is losing gas. So as it moves into our Province, there's no doubt things are going be messy with Snow, Rain and everything in between... however accumulation totals aren't going to be all that impressive. Here are a few highlights for each region over the next few days.

LAB WEST- Snow today and tonight, 5-10 cm. Change to Ice Pellets and Freezing Rain tonight. That could make things very slippery for the drive to work tomorrow. Flurries Tuesday and Wednesday

EASTERN LAB- Snow mixed with Ice Pellets tonight and Tuesday... 5-10 cm. Risk of Freezing Rain tomorrow. Flurries Wednesday

WEST NFLD- Windy Windy Windy. Wind Warnings in effect from Wreckhouse to Gros Morne with gusts to 100 km/h tomorrow. Tomorrow the Snow and Ice Pellets 2-5 cm will change to Rain 10-15 mm in the afternoon with the chance for a period of Freezing Rain in between. Rain-Snow mix on Wednesday.

CENTRAL- Clouding over tomorrow with Snow and Ice Pellets 2-5 cm changing to Rain 10-20 mm in the late Evening and overnight. A messy mix on Wednesday as well.

EASTERN NFLD- A Nice day tomorrow. Increasing Clouds. Snow and Ice Pellets begin around Supper time 2-5 cm before a change over to Rain overnight. That change over again, could include a period of Freezing Rain overnight before we wake up to Rain on Wednesday. However it appears thing may only have enough juice left to drop 10-20 mm.

MUCH MORE TONIGHT ON HERE & NOW!!!!

Ryan
