I'm Back... And It's Unsettled

Hey Folks,

Thanks to everyone for the nice comments. I'm glad to be back here in Newfoundland and Labrador and I'm glad the Weather situation is just as I left it. Stormy.

What a system we have rolling through the Province. Yesterday was a very stormy day in both Newfoundland and Labrador. Taking a look at the some of the numbers this morning and they are pretty impressive.

Mary's Harbour- 43.5 mm of Rain, Freezing Rain, Ice Pellets and Snow
St. John's- 31.6 mm of Rain
Wreckhouse- 29.2 mm of Rain
St. Lawrence- 26.3 mm of Rain
Englee- 25.2 cm of Mostly Snow
Happy Valley Goose Bay- 20 cm of Snow

So a decent shot of Rain and Snow right across the Province. And this unsettled pattern is far from being done with us.

ST. JOHN'S SNOW TONIGHT

We have another Low which is developing over the Southern Grand Banks this morning and will actually move to the Northwest over the next 24 hours or so. If the track from this mornings model run holds up... folks along the Northeast Coast of the Island from St. John's to Twillingate could see a decent 5-10 cm shot of Snow tonight. I'm watching the model runs closely and I'll have an update for you tonight on Here & Now.

STILL STORMY IN LABRADOR

-In Labrador City, you're Blowing Snow Warning is still in effect with 2-4 cm of Snow and Winds of 50-60 km/h it's going to be a messy day in your neck of the woods. More Snow tomorrow, but not much, 2 cm.
-It's going to be a messy mix on the way for the Eastern half of Labrador on Friday. Our Low which is bringing the Snow to Newfoundland tonight will continue to track Northwest bringing Snow, Freezing Rain and Ice Pellets to you folks tomorrow.

I'll have much more tonight on Here & Now.

Ryan
