It looks like the Southcoast along the Burin Peninsula has already started mixing in with some Rain showers and expect that mixing to slowly make it's way North throughout the afternoon.

THE AVALON DODGES A BIG BULLET
I'm already having my doubts on whether the Avalon will end up getting the 10 cm of Snow that is in the forecast today. Just take a look at the radar as of around Noon today. Look at that massive pulse of moisture tracking JUST to the East of the Avalon. If that pulse had crossed over the Avalon we would have seen our 10 cm very quickly.

The way this thing is tracking... there's some pretty good moisture to the West of the Avalon as well... but as you can see... generally it's pretty light over the Avalon so far.

UPDATED SNOWFALL MAP
It doesn't appear you folks in Central will be dodging any bullets however. I've adjusted the Snowfall map this morning and as you can see the 20-25 bullseye has extended out towards the Corner Brook, Deer Lake and Humber Valley and Gros Morne areas. The totals have come up a bit for you folks in Southwestern Newfoundland as well. Although I haven't really lowered my amounts on the East Coast... I think 10 cm will be pushing it for anyone in Eastern Newfoundland now. 5 cm is the better number.

I'll update this map again this afternoon and I'll have the very latest tonight on Here & Now.
