LEST WE FORGET
Hey Folks, As expected, it was Chilly morning across most of Newfoundland and Labrador for the Remembrance Day ceremonies. Wind Chill's of -6 across Western and Central Newfoundland with a few flurries kicking around as well. Here in St. John's it was a beautiful morning, however temperatures will really drop this afternoon in behind that trough which will cross the Avalon switching Winds in from the Northwest. FINALLY A NICE STRETCH!!!! Although Thursday will continue to be Chilly across the Province, it will be bright for most of Newfoundland. (You folks on the West Coast will see some afternoon cloud and late day showers) In fact, across Central and Eastern Newfoundland... yesterday through this Saturday... and maybe even into Sunday... will likely turn out to be the best 5 day stretch of Weather since EARLY SEPTEMBER! Yes 2 months! From September 2nd to the 7th it was pretty nice across the Eastern half of the Island. Temperatures on some days were warmer than 20 degrees! We had plenty of Sunshine and just a few isolated showers. I know it's tough to compare 20 degrees in September to this mornings Wind Chill's of -6... but I think we all know it's the sunshine we've missed so dearly in most of Newfoundland. LABRADOR So what about you folks in Labrador? Well our area of High pressure moving in won't quite clear you folks out. And although things don't look horrible over the next 5... a few days of sunshine back to back aren't in the forecast either. YOUR UPDATED 5 DAY FORECAST TONIGHT ON HERE & NOW! Ryan Your Comments
