UNSETTLED AGAIN THIS WEEK
Hey Folks, Well, for those of you who actually caught a glimpse of the sunshine this weekend... I hope you enjoyed it. Things are going to stay fairly unsettled throughout the week... capping things off could be a good old fall storm with rain and wind on Thursday and Friday. Here are some points marching forward. -Our system today will drop as much as 30 mm of rain in Extreme Southwestern Newfoundland. -Lesser amounts of 10-20 mm is on the menu for most of Newfoundland. -The main wave of this system will push to the North... off the Coast of Newfoundland and into Eastern Labrador with 5-10 mm of rain tomorrow. -A secondary pulse of moisture following in behind will clip Southeastern Newfoundland late tomorrow with another 5-10 mm shot. -Wednesday will stay cloudy and showery and unsettled for most part across the Province. -Last week I was mentioning the possibility of a strong system moving into our region in the late week/early weekend time period. And it still appears that Thursday and into Friday our next big system will be knocking at the door. How strong it will be? Where exactly it will track still remains to be seen. But it appears that it will be primarily a Newfoundland system with lots of rain and very strong wind. I'll be keeping you posted on this system all week on Here & Now and here on the blog.
