Thoughts on Sunday-Monday
Hey Folks, Quickly off the top here. Our system coming in tonight and into Friday will, as expected, cut to the South of the Island. We will see some Wet Snow mixing in with the showers in Southwestern Newfoundland and then across the South Coast but nothing in the way of accumulation. More on that story tonight on Here & Now. I've been looking at our juicy Sunday-Monday system and here are some quick thoughts... -Looks like some parts of Newfoundland could see 20-40 mm of RaIn depending on the exact track of the system. I'll have much more on this system tomorrow here on the blog. Ryan Your Comments

Hi Ryan. I am a Newfie watching you tonight from Norwood, ON. I used to watch you on CHEX TV News. Sure miss you up here. NL is lucky to have you.
Great job on the weather Ryan.
I watch your show regularly and love the graphics and your presentation of the computer models.
I wonder, when presenting your ‘forecast’ if you have ever given consideration to coloring your Google style map of the province to reflect actual conditions on the ground. It would be so cool to see the progression line as the snow advances and recedes throughout the year.
I have seen years where we hardly had snow at all on the South coastline so that area would remain green on your map…..snow on the North Labrador Coast in August…it would be neat to see how far south that extended and for how long it stayed etc. I’m sure you get the idea.
I’m betting that if you can pull it off through live satellite shots or whatever it would be of significant interest to a lot of your viewers.

Hey Ryan,
Just wondering if on Thursday's and Friday's news forecast if you can give an evening specific forecast for Mardi Gras on George Street(it's on Friday and Saturday night). Plus Saturday is Halloween night for the kids so I'm sure you'll have one up for that event as well.
Thanks
The only bright side of all this miserable weather is the sunny disposition of Ryan. Keep up the good work.
