SUNDAY SYSTEM

Hey Folks,

So again, for the most part, Saturday is looking like a Cool, but nice day across the Province. The few exceptions being Western Labrador where we have some light snow falling into the afternoon and the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland. A Northwesterly flow will keep the Cloud cover hugging the Coast until the afternoon... the sun will be peaking through however.

Ok, so here's the deal on our system moving in on Sunday.

-Newfoundland will see primarily rain from this system. There's a chance for some mixing along the Northern Peninsula, North of Daniel's Harbour on Sunday afternoon. Everything South and East of that just be Rain.
-Labrador will be a bit of a Rain-Snow mix. As I mentioned yesterday it looks as though the Rain Snow mix line will cut across Southern Labrador from West to East from Labrador City to HVGB to Cartwright.
-I expect that Labrador City and HVGB will be mostly Snow... with more falling in the East. Perhaps as much as 20 cm.
-Cartwright and South through the Straits will be a Mix of Rain and Snow. More Rain then Snow the further South you are.
-North of Groswater Bay up the Coast to Nain I think a general 10 to as much as 20 cm in the higher elevations is possible by Monday morning.
-Depending on what this system does when it hits the Labrador Sea on Monday will have a lot to do with how much wrap around Wet Snow and Rain you pick up Monday and into Tuesday. If this thing really stalls out and spins you could really get a decent shot... but it's just too early to tell at this point.

Here's the graphic I've made up for Sunday Morning-Monday Morning.

Have a great weekend.
