Next Week's Menu
Hey Folks, I'm running short on time today... but I wanted to talk quickly about next week and what's in store... or what could be in store. When looking at the forecast models... things are generally looking unsettled again. Here are some points. -All models are in agreement that Monday into Tuesday we have a system moving in which could have as much as 20-30 mm with it. A decent shot but nothing out of the ordinary. -Looks like the setup will be perfect for another weaker system to develop in it's wake for Wednesday into Thursday. Although the American model is showing another decent sized system. -This is where things get interesting. The Canadian model has been hinting that after the Wed/Thurs system comes through, a ridge of High pressure will slide in from the North and keep things Cool but bright for the late week/weekend time period. -However the American and the especially the European model are both showing that the High will actually stay to the North. If that happens, then the door would be wide open to a juicy system which could be charging Northeast out of the Great Lakes. As a result, both the American and Euro are hinting at a big old fashioned fall storm hitting the East Coast and rolling in just in time for Thanksgiving weekend. -We're still more than a week away, so this is very much a wait and see. But I'm watching and I'll keep you posted. Ryan Your Comments
