More Frost Tonight... and Your Weekend

Hey Folks,

If you had a touch of patchy frost in your backyard this morning... there's a good chance you could see it again tonight. Environment Canada has issued more Frost Warnings for Newfoundland and they actually cover a larger area. Again with this area of High pressure drawing in the cooler air from the North and keeping the skies clear, temperatures can dip down to the freezing mark in the low lying areas, so make sure to cover things up.

Well, if you're thinking about heading to the cabin this weekend or out to Central... my advice would be... do it.
Things are really looking good this weekend right across the Island. There's a Low pressure system tracking up from Southern Ontario and Quebec, but it appears that it won't arrive until Monday or Tuesday for most of us.
You folks, in Labrador unfortunately are going to be seeing the rain move in early than that.

SATURDAY
It looks like this system will start to slide into Western and Northern Labrador on Saturday with some clouds and showers. However, with this latest model run Eastern Labrador stays dry. I'll keep you updated if that changes.

SUNDAY
Again it's Western and Northern Labrador who are in for a wet Sunday. However, again with this latest morning model run it appears Eastern Labrador will remain dry on Sunday with some showers Sunday night into Monday.

It's all good in Newfoundland on both days with temperatures possibly topping out around 23 to 25 degrees.

I'll keep you posted.
