FROST WARNINGS IN JULY!!!

Hey Folks,

So how about this. July 7th and we're talking about very cool temperatures and Frost Warnings through the overnight tonight. I'm not sure if there was some patchy frost last night across Labrador and Western parts of the Island. I see temperatures dipped to 2 or 3 degrees early this morning at many weather stations like Deer Lake, Corner Brook, Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Churchill Falls.

Tonight the areas that could see that frost shifts East, along with the area of High pressure which is brining in those cool temperatures.

*Note- Even if you are not under the warning... I think areas like the Humber Valley and Gander could see some patchy frost tonight as well.

POINTS FOR THIS WEEK
-Now, despite the fact that it's a cool start today across the Province and winds are in from the Northwest, temperatures for the most, shouldn't be too bad across Central and Western Newfoundland and into Labrador as well. Around 17 or 18 degrees.
-Temperatures will slowly rise day by day across the Province as we work towards the weekend. By Friday, 22 to 24 degrees will on the menu.
-Sun, Sun and more Sun. This area of High pressure is really taking over right through Friday and likley into Saturday for ALMOST everyone in the Province.
-Coastal Labrador and even inland towards Happy Valley-Goose Bay could see some much needed showers tonight and in through Wednesday morning. However not near enough to help the dry conditions with likely only 5 mm.
-The next decent sized system I'm watching could be moving in Late Saturday into Sunday and Monday.
