The Return Of The Warmth!

Hey Folks,

Well if you're a fan of the warm temperatures... the forecast is looking awesome for everyone in the Province. Even in Nain, temperatures are going to be back to seasonal. I'll get to that in a minute first... a quick recap of the rain from Friday.

Thursday-Friday-Saturday rainfall totals.

Port Aux Basques 90 mm
Burgeo 89 mm
Stephenville 55 mm
Rocky Harbour 54 mm
Badger 50 mm
Deer Lake 49 mm
Gander 37 mm

What a shot of rain for Southwestern Newfoundland! The good news is this will be a perfect week for drying out.

High Pressure will dominate over Newfoundland for a good portion of the week. The Canadian model is bringing a chance of showers into Eastern Newfoundland for Thursday... however the American model is keeping it well offshore. So I'm watching that. Other than that... Newfoundland is looking good until the weekend. Temperatures will be into the low 20's in Central and Western Newfoundland with high teens in the East.

Labrador, you folks are going to get a bit wet over the next few days thanks to a little finger of moisture which will be kicking around tonight and Tuesday. After that, another low pressure system will be tracking in from the West and could bring some more rain showers. However, it will be warm rain with temperatures around 20 degrees in Southern Labrador right through the week!

More details tonight on Here & Now.

Ryan
