Hey folks,
Here's a quick rundown on the weekend ahead.
-Get out and enjoy your Saturday. It's without a doubt going to be the better of the two days for pretty much everyone. The exception being you folks in Western Labrador which could see some afternoon clearing on Sunday.
-I'm watching 2 Low pressure systems. One is approaching from the West and one from the South. The Western system is labeled for Labrador and will have the showers falling in Labrador City by mid Saturday morning. The Southern system is much juicier, however the bulk of the rain will be well off shore.
Here is how things break down
Saturday
Newfoundland will be really nice. Warm temperatures of 20 or 21 degrees almost everywhere. If you're closer to the Coast temperatures will be around 16 degrees. We'll see increasing clouds in the afternoon which could get pretty thick along the South Coast.
In Labrador, as I mentioned above the West will be into the showers activity by Saturday morning. In the East, it's going to be a nice day with increasing clouds and temperatures of 15 or 16 degrees.
Sunday
Both of our systems will move right in spreading showers with them. Much like last weekend, I think a good 10-20 mm is the name of the game for most. In Newfoundland temperatures will be cut in half and will struggle to hit double digits. Things will be pretty unsettled with the Cold air coming in and clashing with the warm air left from Saturday, don't be surprised to hear a few rumbles of Thunder in Central and Western Newfoundland. In Eastern Labrador temperatures will be cut in half as well with 7 or 8 degrees and showers. Western Labrador will be around the double digit mark with clearing in the afternoon.
