The long weekend, keeps looking better and better. The biggest change in the forecast since yesterday is the fact that the forecast models are tracking our two systems in just a little bit slower. That changes the forecast up a little bit. Here's what we're looking at as of today.
Friday

Eastern and Central Newfoundland- Increasing clouds across the Island with evening and overnight showers. High 14 to 16
Western Newfoundland- Showers, around 5 mm. High 10
Eastern Labrador- Cloudy with showers... afternoon sun breaks in HVGB. High 11... temps falling
Western Labrador- Cloudy with AM Flurries to showers... then cloudy. High 0
Saturday

Eastern Nfld- Morning showers, then cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon shower. The sun should peak through the clouds as well in the mid-late afternoon. High 11
Central Nfld- Slight chance of an early morning shower then a Mix of Sun and Cloud High 15-17
Western Nfld- A Mix of Sun and Cloud. High 13-15.
Labrador- Mostly Sunny. High 8-12.
Sunday

Eastern and Central Nfld- A Mix of Sun and Cloud. High of 14 in the East, 18-20 in Central.
Western Newfoundland- A Sunny start with increasing clouds. I think the precip is going to hold off until Sunday night/Monday morning. High 18.
Eastern Labrador- Increasing Clouds with afternoon showers developing. High 14.
Western Labrador- Cloudy with Showers. High 11.
Monday

Eastern Newfoundland- It looks like a ridge of High pressure to the East of the Island will keep those showers at bay and Eastern Nfld dry for most of Monday. I think the clouds will dominate with a few sunny breaks... chance of late afternoon showers. High 19.
Central Newfoundland- A mostly cloudy start with a chance of afternoon showers... although right now it looks like they will be late afternoon/early evening. High 18-20.
Western Newfoundland- Monday looks Cloudy and Showery. High 15-17.
Eastern Labrador- Cloudy with showers. HVGB will see showers clearing in the afternoon then mostly cloudy. High 10-14.
Western Labrador- A chance of morning flurries, then mostly cloudy. High 8.
If I'm not talking to you before, have a great weekend!

ahhhhhhhh...thanks Ryan...can't beat that! Happy May 24!
I have a comment about how much time that you spend on the weather for Labrador. You spend more time on Labrador weather then you do on the Newfoundland weather. I think you should seriously look at how much is spent on each pllace throughout the province.
Ryan ,Congratulations on the great job that you do on giving us a forecast ,you are a breath of fresh air with CBC
