Cooler... then Warmer... then Cooler again
Hey folks, Temperatures are going to be doing a bit of a dance over the next few days as a couple of systems move through the Province. We have a couple of Cold fronts exiting out as we move through today... and in behind that second front is a Northwesterly flow which will bring in some cooler air for Thursday. That said, temperatures will only be a few degrees cooler than seasonal. The main story in Newfoundland will be increasing clouds from our next system with showers on the West Coast in the afternoon and Central by supper time. The East will get into the action overnight. In Labrador increasing clouds in the East... with some wet snow changing to Rain in the West. On Friday the West Coast looks like it will remain pretty wet on Friday... thanks to the approaching Cold front. A Southwesterly flow will setup across most of the Island as the warm front lifts to the North... and that should pump some very warm temperatures in. Central and Eastern Newfoundland could rebound up to 20 degrees! In Labrador temperatures will be much cooler in the West (around 4 or 5) with a few wet flurries. In the East showers and temperatures falling in the afternoon. The Weekend On Sunday, both the American and Canadian models are picking up a little wave of moisture which could fire up some showers in Newfoundland. It's a small little clipper system with not much moisture but it could be enough to dampen the ground. It looks like it will be South of Labrador... and so you'll remain mostly cloudy. Temperatures across the Province will be about the same as Saturday. See you tonight! Your Comments
