THE BLOG IS BACK

Hey folks,

I hope you had a great weekend and thanks very much for your patience over the past 2 weeks. There was just so much to do in the day... I couldn't keep up with the blog. However, it's back now and I want to start you off today with a few photos from the past 2 weeks of doing the Newsworld Morning Show.

This First picture is Camera man Gary Quigley's creation. It was taken on a frosty morning last week in Bay Bulls... An awesome pic. If you're wondering what I'm doing... I'm trying to keep my hands warm!

Alright on to the weather!
Our Low pressure system from the weekend is slowly but surely clearing out today. We still have some drizzle and wet snow falling along the West Coast and up along the Northern Peninsula and South Eastern Labrador. We seeing this starting to clear overnight and into tomorrow. However we have another system getting set to move in Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Here's a look at the Canadian model for Tuesday at 5pm. You can see the Rain is pushing into Western Newfoundland and the Snow is well into Western Labrador. Central Newfoundland will get into the showers in the evening which is about the time the Snow should push into Eastern Labrador. St. John's and the Eastern Island should remain dry until the overnight.

This is Wednesday morning at 5am. You can see the whole Province is getting some sort of Precipitation. The Island into the Rain with the Rain-Snow line working North into Labrador. Based on the last few model runs, everywhere in Labrador South of Postville, will likely see a transition from Snow to Rain by Wednesday evening.

See ya tonight,

Ryan
