For you folks in St. John's and parts of the Avalon you are already seeing temperatures of 14, 15 and 16 degrees today and Saturday and Sunday are looking dandy as well.
TODAY
There's still a weak trough hanging out in Western Newfoundland today bringing some lingering showers and even a wet flurry. However, it's slowly clearing out. You folks in Labrador are hanging on to the cloud cover as well... however things will clear later this afternoon.
SATURDAY
It's been a tough call for most of the week... however it appears you folks in Southern Labrador are indeed going to get a taste of this warm air moving in from the South. A Cold front approaching from the West will start to slice across Labrador on Saturday... however just ahead of it that Southerly flow should pump you folks to double digits.
It's all Sun and Warmth across Newfoundland.

Here are your forecast Highs for Saturday
Eastern Newfoundland 12-14 degrees... Normal: 7
Central Newfoundland 17-18 degrees... Normal: 8
Western Newfoundland 16-17 degress... Normal: 9
Southern Newfoundland 9-13 degrees... Normal: 7
The Northern Peninsula/The Straits/Cartwright 9-11 degrees... Normal: 4-6
Happy Valley Goose Bay 10-12 degrees... You should start Sunny in the Morning, increasing Aft. Clouds with overnight showers.
Labrador City... Some showers and maybe even a flurry in the Morning. However the Southerly Flow should help you to 10 or 12 degrees. Showers will come back in the Afternoon with your cool down coming Saturday evening.
Nain/Hopedale... Sorry 2 degrees and Flurries
SUNDAY
Our Cold front will cut to towards the Southeast bringing Showers and then a Cool down to everyone in it's path.
Southern Labrador will be signficantly cooler on Sunday...with high's of 5 in the East... and -2 and flurries in the West!!! Yikes. The Front will approach the Northern Peninsula in the afternoon with showers... and it's all about timing... but I think there's a chance Western Newfoundland, North of Stephenville will see some late afternoon showers as well.

Western Labrador- Cool and -2 with flurries off and on
Eastern Labrador- Temperatures of 5 or 6 degrees in the Morning... with temperatures falling in the afternoon. All the way down to -10 by Sunday night. Showers will change to Light Snow during the transition.
The Northern Peninsula/Straits- Some sunshine in the morning... with temperatures around 10 degrees in the morning however in the afternoon, the front will bring showers and a cool down.
Western Newfoundland- Mix of Sun and Cloud... 14 degrees. Late afternoon showers and temps fall to -2 overnight.
Central Newfoundland- Mix of Sun and Cloud... 16 degrees. Evening showers.
Eastern Newfoundland- Mix of Sun and Cloud... 15 degrees.
SUNDAY NIGHT-MONDAY
The Cold front really begins it's track across the Island. It will be very windy with the front... and MUCH cooler on the back side for the start of next week.
