Labrador Snow Eases... & Island Freeze Up

Lots and lots and lots of Snow for Eastern Labrador over the past 36 hours... and I want to thank all of you who have been sending in pictures. Here are just a few.

The good news is... the snow is easing for Eastern Labrador and up the Coast. By Thursday afternoon you should actually see the SUN peaking through the clouds. Now, all you Snow lovers in Eastern Newfoundland must be crying seeing those pictures... because there has been a ton of Snow melt over the past 3 or 4 days. Now, with all that water laying around we have to keep in mind the icy conditions on the sidewalks and walkways over the next 24 hours with a sharp cool down. Now the Island has already been seeing a cool down today... but temperatures will continue to drop tonight and into Thursday.

Details on a weekend system on the way... tomorrow here on the blog.
