What A Blast... for some.
Hey folks, Well, our Storm Saturday night into Sunday turned out to be... primarily an Avalon Storm. The St. John's airport recorded 7.2 cm on from Saturday evening to Midnight and another 21 cm from Midnight- Sunday afternoon. So a decent 25-30 cm shot for most of the City. However, if you march East... Bonavista and Terra Nova only recorded between 5-10 cm... so totals really drop off. That said, the winds were a big factor for everyone in Eastern Newfoundland. Now, as we move into Tuesday night-Wednesday we have another system moving in. However, this one is going to bring with it lots and lots of warm air... and yes... RAIN! I'll have the latest tonight on Here & Now... and on the blog either later today or early tomorrow. Ryan Your Comments

Hi Ryan. I am a Kindergarten teacher at Indian River Academy in Springdale. Does Newfoundland have a weather predicting groundhog? What's his name? What did he predict? I really enjoy your weather segment! Thanks, Karen
I just want to say that my whole family thoroughly enjoy watching your weather forecast. It is so precise and you make it so that it is very easy to understand. We love the graphics as well. You are doing a marvelous job.
hey...your right on with your forecasts ...so far....i have a question.....can you please post more frequently on your blog...once every couple of days just doesn't cut it ...i need every day!!!so how about it??
Thanks for the updates. FYI: my family has switched from watching NTV to watching CBC, mostly due to your weather segment. Great job!
Another good weather chart I have found is at NOAA-OPC. Google it, I use it all the time especially during the fishing season and find it the best. See what you think?
Thanks for the early heads up Ryan. I cancelled my trip, and am I ever glad that I did, now !
