Alrighty folks... here we go.

WINTER STORM WARNING- 15-25 CM BY THURSDAY MORNING
St. John's and vicinity
Avalon Peninsula North
Avalon Peninsula South
Clarenville and vicinity
Bonavista Peninsula.

WINTER STORM WATCH- 8-15 CM BY THURSDAY MORNING
Gander and vicinity.
Terra Nova
Bonavista North.

Even the Bay of Exploits, Grand Falls Windsor & Notre Dame Bay and down across the Burin Peninsula could see a decent 10 cm shot.

Here's a bit of a timeline for you...
Looks like the Snowfall will begin between 1am & 3am overnight.

Feb17.JPG

The Heaviest Snowfall for the Avalon will likely start falling around 6am and will continue until the mid-late afternoon with Winds gusts really starting to push in from the North & Northeast... to 80 in the early morning... 90 by mid-morning and even 100 km/h along the Coasts by Noon.

Feb17-2.JPG

By tomorrow evening... the Heaviest Snowfall will have subsided for the Avalon... however with winds still gusting to 100. The mid-late afternoon time period is actually when I see things really starting to pick up for the Northeast Coast. The Heaviest Snow will likely be falling through Gander & the Bay of Exploits with the Winds gusting to 80 km/h... right in from the North.
