Hey Folks, Just a few quick points here. -Already we've seen Winds gusts of 95 km/h at Sagona Island, 90 km/h at Grates Cove and 84 in Bonavista. However the Centre of this storm is just now passing East of the Island... so the next few hours we're really going to see the winds begin gusting beyond 100 km/h. Happy Shoveling! Ryan Your Comments

Enjoy your blog and weather reporting style Ryan. Keep up the good work!
Hi,
You are right on the money or snow should I say. We had snow this morning(few flurries) then freezing drizzle, now flurries and blowing snow.
Keep up the good work. Please say that the snow is over after this one. Can't take much more of this dreary weather.
Ryan as of 12:30 today down here in Branch we have had no snow and even the sun has come out for a brief time. Lots of wind however.
That is on the south west avalon.
Hi, Ryan...the big question was when to do the snowblowing...I went out yes (female)!! and snowblowewed about 12:30......but is now 4:30, and I think I'll go out again. My neigbours just finished up....and although we will get more, it's best to get the heaviest out of the way now...before the next volley of precip....by the way ..... The Environment Canada Model for Friday looks very omninous...what's with that.....rain or snow???
All the best to you --
Glad you will continue on...and also that Krysta will be returning -- you'd make an awesome duo.....
