Hey Folks,

We have a pesky Low pressure system which is parked in the Labrador Sea today and it's not going anywhere over the next 48 hours. Thanks to a High pressure system parked over Greenland blocking "the highway"... this Low is going to sit and spin. As a result that's bringing Snow and Blowing Snow to the Coast of Labrador and down along the Northern Peninsula as well. We have Blizzard Warnings in place from Postville down to L'Anse au Clair and Blowing Snow Warnings in place for the Northern Peninsula.

Now, you folks on the Island.... Bundle up... TIGHT. She's going to be a chilly one tomorrow. This Low is going to draw in some Very Cold air from the North. Temperatures Tuesday will be 10 degrees below normal across the Island... with Wind Chills into the -30's!!! A sharp contrast from the warmer temperatures Sunday and today.

The good news is, it's a brief Cold snap. Wednesday and Thursday we'll start to see temperatures rebound across the entire Province... and you'll never guess what's bringing in that warmer air. Yes, another system for Thursday-Friday.
