Update on Saturday's System
Hey folks, Just a really quick update on the system working in on Saturday. Again, it's not a huge system but if you're traveling this weekend... it might be a pain in the neck... so here's the latest. And then up through the Straits on Saturday evening. - Again would allow enough warm air in at the surface to change a good portion of the Eastern Island over to Rain. I don't know if the Rain area will be as far West as this particular run is showing... but St. John's, the Avalon, the Burin and the Bonavista Peninsula's are a pretty good bet at this point. - The American GFS model is also showing a more Westerly track now... with the centre of the Low tracking up across Gros Morne than into White Bay and out into the Atlantic. It's still showing a weaker system which wouldn't wrap as much warm air in and would keep that Rain/Snow line further East. I'll have the latest tonight on Here & Now... Ryan Your Comments
