A Quick Look At Saturday's System
Hey folks, I have a dreaded date with the dentist tomorrow, so I likely won't have time to update the blog. So I've decided to go ahead and give you an early look at the system working in for Saturday... today instead. Again, this system has a loooooong way to go. Here is it as of Wednesday afternoon... just moving into Northern BC, The NWT & Northern Alberta. This piece of energy will dive south as a Clipper system for the Great Lakes on Friday and then round the bend and head Northeast for Newfoundland on Saturday. Of course, it's not a huge surprise that the exact track of this system is yet to be nailed down. -The GFS model is showing a track which takes the centre of the Low up across somewhere between Gros Morne & St. Alban's. If the more Easterly track holds, there's a chance that St. John's and the Eastern Island could stay all snow for this system... it would be wet snow... but still snow. I'll be watching it closely.
