Nor' easter Coastal Storm Moves In...

Hey folks,

Although things are going to be wet over the next couple of days... I think we can all breathe a big sigh of relief. This big time Nor'easter coastal storm that is developing and tracking North is going to be bringing cold temperatures and lots and lots of snow for many areas to the West of the Province beginning tonight.
The track of this storm will take it right up through Quebec keeping the Cold side of this system... and most importantly all the snow to our West.

Our friends in Ottawa and Montreal could be in for a good winter type wallop... with up to 30 cm's of snow in some places!!!

So, as mentioned this is going to be a rain event for our Province... with as much as 40 mm of rain falling tonight and throughout the day tomorrow along the South and West Coasts. The hardest hit areas will be the Burin Peninsula over to St. Alban's, west over to Port Aux Basques and as far north as Stephenville. Again these are the areas that could see as much as 40 mm by Wednesday night.

More details tonight on Here and Now.
