It's a poetry reading on wheels with a musical soundtrack and a cast of characters Lewis Carroll could only dream of, featuring Ron Hynes, Joel Hynes, Michael Crummey, Lisa Moore, Pamela Morgan, Des Walsh, Daniel Payne and Kyran Pittman.

Join Angela Antle, host of CBC Radio Weekend Arts Magazine as she accompanies Newfoundland & Labrador's best troubadours on the ten-day tour of the Emerald Isle and explores common ancestry, accents, sense of humor and music.

Initiated by Rex Brown, Al Pittman, and George Daniels, The March Hare Festival began as an evening of poetry and entertainment in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador, and has evolved into an annual island-wide celebration of words and music.

Now celebrating its 20th anniversary, the March Hare has attracted increasingly high-profile poets, authors, musicians and storytellers, including Michael Ondaatje, Alistair MacLeod, Paul Duncan, Lorna Crozier, Patrick Lane, Susan Musgrave, Wayne Johnston and many others.
