Feature: A hunting we will go

A daunting task to most residents, cycling in St. John’s presents a unique set of challenges.

CBC freelancer Jiri Slavicinsky recently checked out Ordinary Spokes, a not-for-profit volunteer bicycle shop located in downtown St. John’s.

It was here that he met up with Luke Nichols, a volunteer mechanic, and Renee Callahan-St. John, who was there getting help fixing up her bike.

They took Jiri for a ride and showed him how they navigate the hills and roads of the city.
