Quiz | Grammar, texting and the rules of language

With its acronyms, shortcuts, deliberate misspellings and anything-goes approach to capitalization and syntax, texting has brought a new focus to grammar and its place in the world.

Are we letting rules slide too far when we text? Is the language of texting causing a rot in our respect for how we communicate otherwise?

That's a debate we cannot resolve here, but we can offer this. To complement (but not compliment) one of the feature reports in our Back To School series, we compiled a quiz that involves both some common pitfalls of grammar as well as questions that involve the changing nature of our language.
