
The "Olympics of the North" takes place every three years and is hosted in the community of Happy Valley-Goose Bay. It was launched in 1983 by the province of Newfoundland and Labrador as a way to celebrate the cultures and talents of Labrador. The games will feature some 500 athletes, 600 volunteers, and many spectators from across the province.
The Games will feature events such as snowshoe races, target shooting, cross country skiing and more!
