We're looking for five of the province's best book clubs to host meetings celebrating this year's Canada Reads selections:

Generation X by Douglas Coupland

Nikolski by Nicolas Dickner

The Jade Peony by Wayson Choy

Fall on Your Knees by Ann-Marie MacDonald

or

Good to a Fault by Marina Endicott

If your club is chosen as one of the five contenders, you will be randomly assigned one of the Canada Reads selections and challenged to host a meeting themed around the cuisine, costumes, characters, music and storyline. CBC Radio will record your meeting and WAM listeners will vote on the best book club in NL.

Each of the five clubs chosen will receive a full set of the Canada Reads books and tote bags. The winning club (as voted on by WAM listeners) will also receive a $100 gift certificate from The Bookery on Signal Hill. For more information tune in to Weekend Arts Magazine (Saturday and Sundays, 6-9:30am) or email wam@cbc.ca.
