We’ve been celebrating the 60th birthday of the Fisheries Broadcast over the last week or two, with some special broadcasts and a unique giveaway (a dory!). All well-deserved for the longest-running daily show in Canada!

Today, we here at the CBC plant in St. John’s toasted the anniversary with some cake and coffee, and who better to cut the cake than host John Furlong himself.
