Canada Reads: Better luck next year
We noted recently that four of the 40 contenders for this year’s Canada Reads list were written by Newfoundland and Labrador authors. (To recap, they were Kenneth J. Harvey, Michael Crummey, Lisa Moore and Jessica Grant.)
Alas, the top 10 list that was released a little while ago has … none of them on it.
Darn.
In the meantime, you can follow the Canada Reads competition here. The final five will be unveiled later this month, as well as the panellists who will duke it out in the winter.
