St. John's, as seen by Republic of Doyle
Posted by John Gushue
It’s no wonder that members of St. John’s city council recently paid tribute to the people behind Republic of Doyle. The show, which will soon clew up its second season on CBC Television (and will, soon enough, start work on shooting season three), makes St. John’s look incredibly good, week after week.
This fan-made video was posted to YouTube yesterday, to the accompaniment of the title track from the Fables’ album St. John’s.
Lovely.
Meanwhile, here are some things you may like to know. You can follow Republic of Doyle on Twitter right here. Star and driving force Allan Hawco tweets from here. Mark O’Brien, who plays Des, just joined Twitter and is figuring it out here. You can find Krystin Pellerin, who plays the hardest working cop in Sin Jawnz, right here.
