Web Winner
The 2009 Web Winner has been announced. Congratulations Robert Marsh.
For the first time ever in this competition, your fellow candidates and the Canadian public get to vote for their favourite candidate. The person with the most popular audition video will qualify as one of our eight semi-finalists and attend the boot camp in Toronto, where they have the opportunity to earn a spot on Canada's Next Great Prime Minister!
How to Vote for Your Favourite Candidate
Below each
candidate's audition video, you can leave a rating (one to five stars) and write a review. Don't see the form? Be sure you're on the candidate's page who you want to vote for and scroll to the bottom. The rating/review form is AFTER the candidate's video and ratings left by other people and looks like this:

You simply fill out the form that look like this on the candidate's page you want to vote for and that's it!

Contest Tips for Candidates
- Create a great audition video. All Canadians can vote for you, so you'll have to impress a wide audience. Content is often key for the voting public, so be sure to clearly answer this year's question: What would you do to make Canada a stronger country socially, economically and/or politically?
- Campaign! This contest (and the larger Canada's Next Great Prime Minister competition) is like a political campaign. Get press, create buzz around your platform and get supporters to visit your page on this site and vote for you!
- Note that while your other videos count toward the judges selection panel for semi-finalists, only the original audition video is counted toward this contest.
- In order to be eligible for the Web Winner contest, you must complete all tasks listed on the entry page (the same rule applies to the seven other semi-finalists that the judges panel will select). Again, please read the Web Winner contest rules & regulations for more info on the Web Winner contest.
