The response to Challenge #1 has been very impressive and we want to thank everyone for all of their efforts thus far. We know that it was a very busy time of year for everyone and the fact that you found time to organize an event and find an advocate shows your dedication and focus. These are qualities you find in all leaders and are definitely something we look for in Canada*s Next Great Prime Minister.

The judging committee is currently reviewing all contestant material that has been submitted. Some of you will be contacted for a phone interview. We will be announcing our 10 semi*finalists as soon as possible, but given the volume of quality work to evaluate, we may have to push our semi-finalist announcement date back a few days.

Once determined, we will be getting in touch with the semi-finalists personally.

Again, thanks to all for being a part of the competition thus far. We are very excited for what comes next.
