It is with great pleasure that we announce the semifinalists for Canada's Next Great Prime Minister. First off we would like to congratulate this year's candidates for launching amazing campaigns which resonated with Canadians. The online activity has been overwhelming, resulting in nearly half a million page views on the site and nearly 20,000 Facebook users supporting their candidates.

Communities and people across Canada also felt the positive impact from all of your community events which raised money and items for charities, awareness for many issues and brought ideas directly to today's politicians. Every candidate deserves our thanks and their community's thanks for taking part in this to make Canada a stronger country.

This year the competition was so fierce, 10 semi-finalists will travel to Toronto to battle for the chance to be Canada's Next Great Prime Minister.
