Our host Rassi Nashalik has been with the program ever since it started in 1995. She is a champion for issues and events surrounding Inuit culture. She was an interpreter/translator for the Government of the Northwest Territories prior to the creation of Nunavut.

The high points of Rassi's television career include covering the celebration of the new territory of Nunavut from the capital city of Iqaluit, the Inuit Circumpolar Conference in Kuujjuaq, Northern Quebec, Hockey Day in Canada from Iqaluit and hosting a phone-in show on suicide. Rassi counts interviewing an elder in an igloo during the Arctic Winter Games was one of the biggest thrills.
