Technical issues with CBC websites

CBCNews.ca and our regional websites had technical difficulties this morning which made it difficult for many people to access them. The sites are back up and running, however some people may continue to notice slowness.
The CBC's David Common is on board with the crew of the Canadian Coast Guard icebreaker Sir Wilfrid Laurier. They are part of a team that's searching for the two ships that comprised the 1845 Franklin expedition. The boats disappeared while trying to find and cross the fabled Northwest Passage. Millions of star-gazers across a narrow strip of eastern Asia and the Western U.S. were able to witness this year's dramatic 'ring of fire' eclipse, which occurs when the moon passes in front of the sun.
Canadians may have missed out on the full ring, but a few members of the CBC Community were able to snap stellar shots of the partial eclipse.
