CHAT LIVE with Adam van Koeverden, four-time Olympic medallist and CBC Special Studio Analyst for the Sochi 2014 games this Monday, Jan. 27 at 12:30 p.m. ET (CBC Media Centre)

Four-time Olympic medallist Adam van Koeverden brings a wealth of first-hand knowledge and experience as a high-performance athlete to his role as one of CBC's guest analysts for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.

He's earned one Olympic gold medal, two silver and one bronze in kayak, and is a two-time World Champion, 25-time World Cup Champion and 73-time Canadian Champion.

As a seasoned competitor on the world stage, he'll be providing Canadians with valuable insight into the minds of athletes during this year's Olympic Games in Sochi.

But first, we gave the CBC community a chance to chat LIVE with Van Koeverden via webcam.
