How will Canada Post ending home mail delivery affect you?

Categories: Canada, Community, Politics

Canadians that currently have home delivery will instead have their mail dropped off at "super-mailboxes." Two-thirds of Canadians currently get their mail delivered at these community mailboxes.

Door-to-door delivery will be phased out over the next five years.

The cost of a single stamp will also increase to $1 starting March 31, 2014. Rolls and sheets of stamps will be sold at a rate of 85¢ a piece.

How will the elimination of home mail service affect you? Do you depend on door-to-door service or is walking to a super-mailbox already the reality for you? Let us know what you think.
