Assisted suicide in Canada: Your stories

Categories: Community

si_yourstories_assistedsuicide.jpgOn Monday, October 28th, CBC's The National began airing a documentary series on assisted suicide, a topic many Canadians debate and struggle with, but that lawmakers have refused to touch for more than 20 years.

The response to Last Right: Assisted Suicide in Canada has been overwhelming, with thousands of viewers reaching out to us through email, telephone, and in the comments section of our website.

Earlier this month, we asked members of the CBC Community to share their own personal stories and experiences with us, and once again we were flooded with responses.

Click on the interactive magazine below to read 10 of the stories we received, sent to us by CBC audience members just like you.

We extend our sincerest gratitude toward anyone who has weighed in on this debate, and thank those who appear in this feature for sharing your stories with us.
