He's finally here, and the Commonwealth is uniting in their well-wishes to new parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Prince William and Kate welcomed their newborn son today weighing 8 pounds, 6 ounces. A news release from Kensington Palace says, "Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well and will remain in hospital overnight."

So far, there is no mention of a name.
