What's going to be on your Christmas list next year? What electronic gadget could change your life - or the world?

Peter Nowak is at the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas for the next week, searching out the new and fascinating for CBC News, and highlighting the things that you'll want to know about.

This year, CES expects 150,000 attendees and 3,000 exhibitors, although some of the big names, like Apple, Google and Microsoft, won't be exhibiting. But that won't stop other tech companies from introducing an estimated 20,000 new products.

Peter has already previewed a few of the big trends here, including Ultra HD TV and the growing "sensor-ization" of our gadgets.

Now it's your chance, CBC Community Members, to find out more about those trends, and others you've been hearing about. Just how good is Ultra HD TV and is it worth upgrading? What device is going to be a must-have? What should you skip?
