Christmas light shows sync to dubstep, Gangnam Style

Categories: Community

For many Canadians, putting up the Christmas lights is an afternoon's work: a string of lights or two, maybe some flood lights to bathe the house in red or green.

Some people go all out, running lights up every tree in their yard and around every window. And then there are the Christmas light shows that make the news. Or YouTube.

Landon Holmes in Stratford, P.E.I., has put up a light display on his house for three years now, synchronizing the flashing lights to music. He raised $12,000 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation in the first two years of the display and wants to collect $10,000 this year.
