Facebook's "like" button has a new partner: the "want" button.

The "want" button is part of a new feature being tested on Facebook in the U.S. this week called "Collections".

The social network has partnered with seven retailers, including Pottery Barn, Victoria's Secret and Neiman Marcus, who are sharing information about their products in "Collections"

When a Facebook user clicks on an item featured in "Collections", they are given the option to "like" "want" or "collect" the item.

Essentially it creates a 'wishlist' of goods for a Facebook user.  Each button has slightly different settings within the Collections feature, as Tech Crunch explains in detail.

"Collections can be discovered in News Feed, and people will be able to engage with these collections and share things they are interested in with their friends. People can click through and buy these items off of Facebook," the company said in a statement.

The "Collections" feature could help Facebook's ability to bring in revenue, although the company has said it currently doesn't receive any money if a user purchases something from their wishlist.
